Adding Dependents to the Medical Insurance - Vietnam

Vietnam employees, have the option of adding dependents to the medical insurance but require certain confirmation of acceptance. When onboarding the employee please have them complete the form which is being uploaded to JD. The information required is as below: 

 

  • If the dependent is a parent:
    • Father is 61 years and 3 months old, mother is 56 years and 8 months old
    • Provide parent's ID card, tax code (if any)
    • Provide the employee's birth certificate to prove the father-child relationship
    • Parents do not have an income of more than 1 million VND/month

 

  • If the dependent is a child:
    • Provide the child's birth certificate to prove the father-child relationship
    • Provide their ID card and tax code (if any)
    • If your child is 18 years old or older, they must have documents proving they are still in school
