End of Assignment Notice Period in Netherlands

According to law, at least one month before a fixed-term employment contract ends, the employer must inform the employee in writing whether the employment contract will be continued or not. This applies to both an extension and ending of the employment contract. If the employee does not receive a notice, the employee is legally entitled to a maximum of one month's salary.
