France - fixed-term agreement limits

France - fixed-term agreement limits

France – Irrespective of whether the onboarding happens under our local (ETT) license or otherwise, the maximum fixed term tenure allowed is 18 months. For example – We have a French onboarding from last year (Timothee). The arrangement here was such that XML would sell an IT services package to Morgan Stanley, and Timothee would be a part of that package, rather than as a separate individual employee/headcount. This onboarding WAS NOT done under our local ETT license. Despite this, the maximum tenure limit of 18 months still applies in Timothee’s case.

To summarise,
France – 18 months tenure limit applies to both ETT and non ETT license onboardings.
