In the UK, it is compulsory to auto-enroll in to our company pension scheme. However, if the candidate has his/her own preferred pension partner, it is imperative that they officially opt out of the scheme. Please follow this link and instructions to officially opt out of the NEST pension scheme.

FAQ-

•If Candidate has recently joined and wants to opt out of NEST pension, is it possible?

By default, employees will get enrolled into the pension as this is a mandatory benefit for them. The registration is done by local accountants when the first payroll is processed. Employees will receive a confirmation about this registration. They will be able to opt out only once they receive this registration email not before that.

•Can XML opt out the candidate from NEST pension on their behalf?

XML will not be able to opt out. Employees are required to do this by themselves post the receipt of the registration email.
