Overtime Rules – Italy

In Italy, employees are allowed to perform overtime, up to a maximum limit of 250 personal annual hours. Please see below payment increase according to difference scenarios (night shift, no. of hours, weekends):

a. 15%, work from 41 to 48 hours a week;

b. 20%, work more than 48 hours a week;

c. 30%, weekend work;

d. 50%, night overtime (from 10 pm until 6 am);

e. 15%, night work
