Work injury compensation insurance (WIC) is legislated and regulated by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in Singapore.

 

In a broad outline, the key features of this WIC Policy are:

a. A maximum limit of $10 million under Common Law

b. Reimbursement of Medical Expense of a maximum of $45,000

c. Total Permanent Incapacity: Minimum compensation limit of $97,000 to Maximum of $289,000  

d. Death: Mininum compensation sum of $76,000 to Maximum compensation sum of $225,000

Foreign worker's medical insurance provided by the Ministry of Manpower might be required as a part of the work permit approval.
