For
sickness up to three days, the employee does not have to notify social
security, which does not pay any contribution (daily wage).
For
sickness lasting more than three days, the employee must notify social security,
which pays a contribution.
The
employer must pay up to 15 days’ absence if the employee has worked at the
employer for 10 days, and up to 30 days’ absence in one working year if
the employee has already worked one year for the employer.
